“Kitchen is not a place. It is your world.” This is so true, especially for us Singaporeans who are true blue foodies.
Indeed, many of our fondest memories are wrapped around the delicious tastes and smells wafting out of Mum’s kitchen. So when we plan our own home, we, too, want that special haven where we can create a warm and happy world for our family. And because we are house proud, we also want our kitchen to look good while we cook up all that goodies! Stosa Cucine is thus a kitchen specialist after our own heart.

Tuscany – Where It All Began
Founded in 1964 in Piancastagnaio, Tuscany, the first production of Stosa Kitchens began in a humble, 300m² carpenter’s shop. There must be something in the water in Tuscany, as it is where Stosa shares its roots with some of the most famous Italian artists, writers, scientists and musicians. From Michelangelo to Dante Alighieri, Leonardo da Vinci to Giacomo Puccini, and even the amazing wine-producing hills of Chianti and Panforte, Stosa is certainly in good company.
Today, this Italian brand has over half a century of experience in designing and building kitchens and one of the most successful and well-loved in the industry. They take pride in focusing only on kitchens, lovingly creating each one to “improve the lives of those who live, day in and day out, in the most convivial area of the house”.

Outstanding, Eco-friendly Quality Products Made in Italy
All of Stosa’s products are designed and created exclusively in Italy to ensure its outstanding quality, while keeping their prices reasonable for young families. Its popularity in over 40 countries around the world is testament to its ability to keep innovating and giving its customers the best. Yet, no matter how fast and well they modernise the kitchen, Stosa sticks to their authentic old school values: the Commitment to doing their very best with every single kitchen, directly at your house; Honesty to turning our projects into truly sustainable living spaces; Respect for the nature that surrounds us, and for the entire production chain; and Originality to be increasingly competitive when it comes to technological and practical innovation.
Their high-tech facilities include two plants with 50,000m² of production area, which can produce 4 pieces of furniture per minute on 2 production lines, all well monitored with quality control cameras along the entire assembly line. 130 machines make 3,000 doors every day. In fact, Stosa produces more than 30,000 kitchens every year, offering over 30 models and 200 finishes.
Stosa takes pride in building kitchens that are solid, reliable and highly functional, using raw materials from forests monitored according to rigorous environmental standards and made through technological partnership with the best industry brands. Eco lovers will also be glad to know that all Stosa kitchens are rigorously certified as they make products that are entirely respectful of the environment, even down to their energy source from their plant’s large photovoltaic installation.
Kitchen and Living: Two Places in a Single Place
With the increasing cost of land, apartments and homes are getting smaller. Stosa knows this and aims to integrate the living and kitchen together, bringing a whole new experience to Singapore. Of course, the function of the space is the most important. Living rooms with kitchens often face decreased space. Stosa’s new kitchen, Metropolis, is a great combination of original design, exclusive materials and the latest technology providing high capacity and well-organized inner spaces so as to maximise your usable space. Adaptable, modern and elegant, Metropolis’ coherent and thoughtful design will allow families to enjoy their living-kitchen space to the fullest.
Good News for Local Fans
Stosa is currently available in Singapore! This spells great news for those who have been wanting a piece of Italian designer quality in your kitchen, at a reasonable price. Be it outfitting your luxurious apartment or a sprawling landed property, there will always be something in Stosa’s extensive catalogue that will meet your needs and tastes. Stosa offers a wide variety of looks in Classic and Modern categories. Here are four ranges from the Modern category that we have our eye on:
Aliant
Aliant’s most unusual factor is that it puts the glass at the centre of attention. Clients can choose their frame (Black or Titanium finish aluminum frames look really sleek) and a broad variety of accessories that meet their unique needs. Tavinea Grass, for example, is a new innovative organisational system in the drawers and drawer boxes for kitchen utensils. Add details like Detroit, the lighted LED bar with electronic sensor that turns the lamp on and off automatically when the drawer is closed. Using Strike glass shelves with aluminium frames also adds to its elegance.
By using glass as its central theme, this very modern and clever play of reflections will certainly make your kitchen a show-stopper.
Infinity
A versatile system, Infinity offers clients plenty of fun with the creative space it provides. Check out the wide variety of pairings and finishes, ranging from the typical wood grains to the lacquered features – “ingredients from yesterday and today that blend in an inextricable and linear furnishing harmony”, sums up Stosa.
The Infinity range is perfect for those who love clean and casual lines. Look out for exclusive new finishes and new opening systems, including the ‘L’ handle and the Diagonal handle, which uses an exclusive 40° tilted cut to facilitate gripping and opening.
Alevè
If sleek metallic is not your thing, try basking in the warm atmospheres conjured up by the Alevè line. It still has the liveliness and modernity of a youthful, well-balanced model but is practical enough for your everyday tasks. In fact, the new Alevè aims to meet the needs of rationality and ergonomics, yet adding a touch of urban glamour.
Choose your own finishes and colours in soothing neutral hues like varying shades of blonde, beige brown and grey. Then pair with your choice of handles. We love the clean and unfussy options! Finally, you can add complementary touches like the Scarlett chair and Chiara table to complete your kitchen.
Natural
Did you know that Natural is the first Stosa model to be designed with the Evolution System? This new solution, an addition to Stosa’s original Look System, advances the concept of the kitchen. It revolutionises the modularity of the units, with innovative interior accessories and thoughtful technical details of the construction. Plinths are smaller to increase the storage capacity of base and tall units. More than just offering more efficient storage usage, the slimmer, taller cabinets are also a stylish design element.
The doors come in five different nuances of slatted oak, bringing the beauty of real wood into the home environment. Whether it is warm tones such as Miele and Cognac to modern shades such as Sahara, Grey and Dark, nature lovers will appreciate how the vertical grain of the doors with natural brushed details and split wood will certainly add a cosy warmth to your home sweet home.
